Mark your calendars for July 12th-14th because the 19th Annual Cars Time Forgot Car Show in Delavan, WI, is back and bigger than ever! 

We sat down with Malinda Obershaw, the executive director of the Delavan-Delavan Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, to get the inside scoop on this year's event. Riding in style in the all-new 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ, Malinda shared all the exciting details with Beth Piccolo, Digital Marketing Director at Delavan Holdings.

Kick off the weekend with a street dance starting at 5:30 PM on North 3rd Street by Rocky’s Gym and the Treasury. Enjoy live music from local tribute bands like Gravity of Youth and The Breakfast Club.

• Kid Zone: At the street dance, kids can enjoy bounce houses, giant slides, face painting, snow cones, and more!

Line up at the Lake Lawn Airport for a car rally and parade down Mound Road to downtown Delavan. Catch the cars at the church on Second Street and enjoy a Supertramp tribute band and a mini car show at the Phoenix Bandshell.

Come hungry! The Car Show will be held at Lake Lawn Airport, with Lake Lawn Resort providing delicious food to ensure you won't leave with an empty stomach.

This year, the car show will feature a brand-new judging process! Instead of personal favorites, cars will be judged in categories by decades. Here are the new categories:

• Modern Classic: Vehicles from 2000 and newer
• Raddest Ride: Vehicles from 1980-1999
• Groovy Ride: Vehicles from 1960-1979
• Vintage Icon: A new category this year, based on past judging criteria

Get ready to feast your eyes on some fantastic rides, including:

• 1965 Shelby Cobra
• 1965 Ford T-Bird
• 1967 Rambler
• 1957 Volkswagen Bug
• 1970 Volkswagen Camper Van
• 1973 Chevrolet Bel Air

Get your hands on cool collectible merchandise, including:

• Rev Up Weekend logo shirts
• Trucker hats
• Air fresheners
• Posters
• Mugs
• Magnets
• Stickers

There will be a merch tent open at each location during this 3 day event!

If you’re visiting from out of town, be sure to book a room and stay for the weekend! Lake Lawn Resort offers a convenient shuttle service between the resort and the airport, making your stay even easier.

Music lovers can enjoy live sets on Friday and Saturday and a DJ spinning old records on Sunday.
