Kunes Family Foundation Proudly Supports Jackson Elementary Color Run

Published on May 5, 2026 by Cassie Gould

The Kunes Family Foundation is proud to serve as a Gold Sponsor for the Jackson Elementary School Color Run, taking place on May 13, 2026, in Elkhorn.

Hosted by the Jackson Elementary PTA, this vibrant and energetic event brings students, families, and the community together for a day of fun, movement, and meaningful impact.

More Than Just a Fun Run

The Color Run is not only a memorable experience for students—it’s a critical fundraiser that directly supports the needs of the school and its students.

Funds raised from this event go right back into the school to provide:

  • Field trips and enrichment opportunities
  • Books and classroom resources
  • School supplies for students and staff
  • Family engagement events
  • Support for students facing financial challenges

With a high percentage of students at Jackson Elementary coming from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, this event plays a vital role in ensuring every child has access to the same opportunities to learn, grow, and participate.

Supporting Students Where It Matters Most

This sponsorship helps remove barriers for students and ensures they can fully experience everything school has to offer—without financial limitations holding them back.

At the Kunes Family Foundation, we believe every student deserves access to opportunities that inspire confidence, curiosity, and success. Supporting the Jackson Elementary Color Run aligns with our commitment to investing in education and strengthening our local communities.

Making a Direct Impact

What makes this event especially meaningful is that every dollar raised stays within the school, directly benefiting the students and staff of Jackson Elementary.

We are honored to stand alongside the PTA and school community in supporting an event that creates both immediate and lasting impact.

Together, we’re helping ensure every student has the tools and experiences they need to thrive.
